silent time

Hey everbody,

I'm working quite hard for school on the moment, so I've got only little time rest for painting. I'm studying psychology, my first year. I like it so far, but it's a realy big lot work.
It will possibly be quite in my gallery for some weeks, but as soon as I got the time, I'll be back again.

Hi, I'm Ruthie. I'm 18 years old. I'm from Belgium. My English is an absolute disaster. I'm going to try making myself understandable though.

I started painting last summer and lost my heart in it. I'm still a beginner. I have hopes to grow. My gallery will contain a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I'm experimentating a lot, trying out many different styles and techniques. I hope to come to an proper style in the end.

Some more over my background:
I'd like drawing ever since I can remember. In my freetime I do sign school (or wathever I need to call it).
For a very long time, I'm offered various lesson: drawing, model, do handicraft,...
Since I'm an adult, the lessons become more specialized and deeper.
I've chosen to follow painting-lessons and as said before, I adore it!

I adore oil painting, so most of my works are with oil. I work with acryl and waterpaint too though.
Seeing most of my works are just trials, I work on simply carton, not on canvas.

That's enough about me, I think. If you got any questions, feel free to ask.

Just wanted to say, your English is actually quite good. Easy to understand and read. :)

Your artwork is amazing as well! You have a lot of talent for capturing the human form and all it's expressions. None of your subjects appear "stiff" or "lifeless", all of them are very natural looking. I enjoyed your gallery a great deal, thank you and good luck in your future endeavors. :)
